Free passes Parks Canada
Just found out that in honour of its 150th anniversary, Parks Canada are giving away FREE seasons passes for 2017 - all areas of Canada. The website is a bit swamped right now, but persevere and you will get in. Handy for me, as I was off to a park next week that I would have had to pay for! Enjoy everyone! Nice crimbo pressie!

So I request one, get all excited, go tell Snoop about it and she tells me that "we've already gone one attached to the one we bought last year" |

Nice!
Is this still running or have they all gone now? Update: just tried not working. I'm sure my friend and I can split a 3 day pass in jasper next year |

Re: Free passes Parks Canada
Yep, I bought a year in the summer and was given two years. If you use it great, if not, why bother? Because it's free? It would be like being offered a free bag of coal when you have gas heating......

At least I won't have to pay $19 to enter Banff and not see any wildlife. I have seen more wildlife in South Calgary and Okotoks😥

Re: Free passes Parks Canada
I can't predict the spring/summer and what we will be able to do or go, but decided to get one just in case we end up being able to go somewhere.
