Is the forum a bit boring these days?

Its probably just me (I guess if you spend long enough on here and see the same discussions over and over it doesnt hold your attention like it used to). Or has the forum got a little bit boring? Dont seem to see so many to-the-death arguments involving dbd33 or crazy stuff from Steve666 these days. And as for all those people banging on about Nova Scotia's beautiful North Shore...<yawn>.
Or perhaps I have just missed all the really meaty discussions without realising it.
Anyone else feel the same?

) what some of the stuff being discussed /argued about was, they made for a cracking read.So I have decided not to post shitty threads about being dumb or having fun (can`t really get too emotive about that) and pass the floor to you clever types to talk about something worthwhile!!!!!

well actually after I posted this I read your post about creek racing - which I did actually think sounded really fun and not at all boring

If you're bored you should read some of the threads on the Moving Back to the UK forum things get pretty heated over there

I think the Wiki has wrecked the forum. I consider it to be a double edged sword. On the one hand, I grew tired of frequently asked questions. On the other hand, when the number of frequently asked questions diminishes, what's left? Since I personally have created something like 180 Wiki articles (I've actually lost count), I feel responsible for the demise of the forum.

I feel sure with a bit of effort someone can come up with a topic to really fire things up!

well since you mention it I do think it was a bit irresponsible. When you're hurtling down a frozen creek you arent really in full control of your vehicle - in that sense its exactly the same as drunk driving. There's risk to your own life, lives of other people who happen to be on the creek, innocent animals and not to mention the impact on the environment of all the natural watercourses you are destroying! It makes me so mad when I hear about people with so little regard for human life and the future of our planet!:curse::curse:

Unfortunately as a typical Libran (we like balance and harmony) I can see your point and feel suitably chastised and will not partake in an arguement
but it was fun sooooooo on that note"how about a nice big......................."

It seems pretty quiet around here to us, well for the last few days anyway
Judy, thank god for the wiki, the forum would not be half the place it is without it or the guys like you who take the time to write it
