Forty isn't old, if you're a tree.

In honor of Moochop's birthday event today, I though some words of wisdom might be appropriate.

"Life begins at 40 - but so do fallen arches, rheumatism, faulty eyesight, and the tendency to tell a story to the same person, three or four times.” Helen Rowland (English-American writer, 1876-1950)

“The "I just woke up" face of your 30's is the "all day long" face of your 40's.” Libby Reid

“The best years of a woman's life - the ten years between 39 and 40.” Anon

“At 20 years of age the will reigns; at 30 the wit; at 40 the judgement.” Benjamin Franklin

“Forty is the old age of youth; fifty is the youth of old age.” Victor Hugo

Hope you have a great day :thumbup:

Don't pay any attention to anyone who says 40 is old! I'm in my element, my 40th was 3 years ago and I'm having a field day, or two, becoming more and more opinionated as the years pass! Annd I have reached the stage where I don't actually care what others think of me! Except my boss cos I have to! It's great fun! :thumbsup:

Moochop's - don't believe a word of it.

I turned 40 just 9 days ago and still look like and behave like and still see a 25 year old in the mirror.

Happy birthday young thing. I don't feel a bit different.

Wouldn't mind feeling some young bits but I believe that's when I become a Cougar !

Bring it on !!!!

Happy birthday xxx

Everyone said 40 was the big one. The one that would send you over the edge of "young" to "old".

Nah! Life starts at 40. And besides, age doesn't matter unless you are a cheese or a good bottle of alcoholic bevvie.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MANDY!!!!
:thumbsup::thumbsup:
