They're politicians - they all lie, don't make good on their promises, are wingnuts, loonies, etc.

I thought Clinton was about having sex and he got off (no pun intended) because there was no penetration, well except for the cigar.

iirc, the alleged lie was:

"I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky"

which is, or isn't, true, depending on your definition. I think he was being more a lawyer there than a politician.

It was the lying about it, not the sex (or lack thereof) that was the central issue. Its about trust, as it is with Rob Ford. How many lapses of judgement has he had now?

Poor form. Poor form.
Well, if you have the time to enter this website and read my post, responding to it with this crap, then you also have the time to use Mr Google to find an answer to your questions which I managed to in about 20 seconds:

Latest on this is that the Judge has now rescinded on the Rob Ford cannot run in a By Election bit of his ruling.

Looks as if he can run when they have a by election now, that would be interesting.

What a total donkey's arse of a farce. Seriously, how much are judge's paid? My two kids could have delivered a better deliberation here. So, we could be in for a $7m by-election triggered by the ejection of a mayor that he's allowed to re-run in. I'm just genuinely staggered at the ineptitude here.

In the US, allegedly 43% of Congress and 60% of Senate are lawyers

Table X14: Jon Major govt had 22% of MP's and Blair had 16% of MP's as lawyers

Not sure for Canada.
