Chow has spent all her time slagging off Rob F and not saying how good she is, now she either has to dig up shit on Doug or actually go get herself a plan

Good, I bloody wish she would.

Prohibit on-street parking on major thoroughfares. Prohibit right turns on red. In turn, provide proper pedestrian phases for traffic lights at all intersections. Punitive congestion charging for driving into the downtown core during peak hours. Separated bike lanes that actually connect to each other and provide a real network of safe routes for cyclists. Fully pedestrianise some streets (King West from University to Spadina would be a good one to start with). Get the stupid f*&king single-occupant vehicles off the streets and re-humanize the downtown core.

Can I be mayor, please?

The bike lane thing is a bit of a political hot potato in Calgary at the moment. Do many people cycle on Toronto's streets during the winter?

Not during the winter. They drive me nuts...they use the road or the pavement...whichever suits them at any given minute. They don't seem to think the rules of the road apply to them...they go through red lights. Many don't attempt to slow down when they are on the pavement...some even using motorized bikes. They bang on the side of your car if they can't get past.

I think there should be a reward for every cyclist you knock over on the pavement.

E Bikes are crazy bad motorists too. I've seen them racing along on the sidewalk dodging pedestrians as they race toward their destination

Sounds like Vancouver...lol..

I cannot tell you how many times I almost got hit by bikes as a pedestrian because they were on the sidewalk. I am fine with bikes on the sidewalk as some area's have no bike lanes, but at least respect pedestrians and slow down.

Have you now? I assume that since you drive around armed to the teeth with cameras and various other nefarious devices, you have documentary evidence for this?

<thought not>

These are awesome ideas. That combined with a downtown congestion charge and regular service on the GO lines should pretty well sort it out I think!

You two for mayor and deputy mayor. I'll be your chief of staff.
