One thing I haven't found here is a tray that you can use to make jam or lemon curd tarts. Everywhere has those muffin trays and while they are ok in a pinch, they don't have the ideal tart depth. Anyone that likes jam tarts needs to consider this when making their emigration plans.

In England we were quite posh and used to buy gold blend. I don't think you can get it here.

I think the equivalent is Taster's Choice. the adverts had vampire slaying Giles in them. I don'@t suppose drinking either helps with vampire slaying abilities but you can't be too careful.

. I am a slob so just wash and rinse the cafetiere plunger thing. I occassionally take it apart to clean it, but not often. I don't like coffe made in filter machines, there is always a strange taste to it.

None of you idiots knows what proper Newcastle coffee tastes like. You know, the stuff from the peaks of Westerhope Mountain (or slag hill as it was pre-Thatcher)

I had coffee in laos when I was there. It was the best coffee I've ever had, but the damn commies keep it to themselves.
