Of course - according to a survey, that Brits in UK land, lack taste as well as culture. More Brits should emigrate to Canada.
Other than the on-line 'Daily Fail' that's about all the print media I need to get me away from reality.
Having lived in Canada for so long, there are few, if any food items in my diet that are not edible.

I wonder how they decided on which foods to put on their questionnaire? Braised endive, gambas al ajiolo or whatever. Not a jacket spud to be seen. And as for sports, who puts the long jump as a favourite sport "hey lads, let's pop down to the playing fields for a spot of long jumping"?
I did feel a strange loathing when I came to the Daily Mail section.

Thank you for the link. Having read the piece and some of the comments I shall, when next unable to come to work, email saying "I've braised me endive".

unless I missed it (or they had fancy names), was there jellied eels or black puddings on the list?
Back to my lunch of chapati, deep fried chicken feet & whelks, washed down with a cup of chai

On actual reading, Guardian and Telegraph online as I won't pay for the Times' paywall. Never read the tabloids, except the DM occasionally/selectively if I want a "true expose" slant on things.

Do Canadians eat eel? Jellied or otherwise?

I see eels at the market so someone in Canada eats them, not necessarily Canadians. Never seen a jellied eel here, nor whelks, nor cockles, they do have mussels alive alive oh.

Eels are a popular Japanese food. It actually looks yummy, but I won't try it (smoked, jellied or otherwise) on the principle of it being a snake like creature.

According to this I'm a Daily Express-Mirror-Star reader but that's bollox because I only really read the Sun.
