The notary is a cretin. He forgot to send the sodding paperwork to the authorities, so the 7th has gone down the pan. Just as well we hadn't organised a big reception.

What a tit.

Could be.

It could also be that he doesn't normally work on Fridays (which the 7th is). He agreed, somewhat begrudgingly, to do it that day. Then forgot to file the paperwork.

Not sure. She's talking to/at the notary today. The paperwork has now been filed, so we can do it any time after the 10th. It will be a Friday, for certain.

Well I hope you get it sorted and a new date on the calendar. You will however have to remember the new date in consecutive years and not the original
