Finally high speed internet ..............
after 3 years of trying various aircards and having to resort to dial up internet, plus an outlay of $650 for install we have high speed internet.
There is a 10ft tall pole on top of the roof with a satellite dish on it (makes me nervous if we get a gust of wind
) so when you drive past the house it looks as though people wearing tin foil hats should live here.
Download speed of 6.5 iggleblobs a second, and upload of about 5.5 (if that means anything to anyone
)
Cost $40 a month but it's fricking quick, so I can now look at all your pics and videos - sweeeeeeeet

Mine's away for two weeks. Got the window men coming tomorrow to fit a new kitchen window. Might just watch them as they bend and twist and swear and get out the old window to put in the new.
Suppose being Italian I'll have to put the coffee pot on the cooker at some stage and make them a coffee as well.
39° here. Wonder if they'll rip off their t- shirts as they work in the heat

I bet they are better looking than the install 'child' that came to do the internet yestrday though - mind you - anything relating to computers doesn't really give you mental image of the shirtless / sweaty / muscled / long haired man of your dreams does it

If I can, I'll take a sneaky photo. When I had lounge windows done a few months ago, the older and wiser guy had a new younger guy with him.
Both quite promising in different ways.
And it wasn't half as hot then as it now - having a heatwave here.
Better check the cold drinks in fridge in case they don't want coffee.

I've got beer because I don't like it.
If they want white wine or prosecco they'll be out of luck as I'm finishing it all tonight in an attempt to get tiddly enought to sleep through the heat.
Must remember though to get off BE at some point and tidy the bloody kitchen. They could be here at 8am tomorrow.

Who's your supplier Moo? Our satellite internet's over double that cost and I'm lucky to get 1 iggleblobs in Moospeak per sec.
