Hi,
We are finally off to Vancouver next weekend, flying out on Flyglobespan.
Has anyone flown out with them recently ? If so, can you tell me what films they were showing on the plane ?
I have told my wife they will not be up to much, based on previous comments on here, but she was still wondering.
Regards
GW

My parents flew Manchester to Calgary a few weeks ago with Globespan (the plane flew on from Calgary to Vancouver, I believe).
On the way out here, the flim started then went off after only a few minutes - and never went back on again as it had "broken down". My Mum overheard a flight attendant telling someone who was complaining, that the problem with these cheap carriers was that they "maintain the outside of the plane but don't bother with the internal things like TVs"
On the way back, the picture came on the screen - but there was no sound coming through the head phones. It was like that all the way back so they could watch the picture if they wanted, but not hear any noise!!
So I wouldn't worry too much about what films they might be showing - and either take your own portable DVD player or a lot of books!!!!!

Well I hope you have better luck with your flight than we did with ours.
I honestly will never book globespan again - I would prefer to spend triple to get me home rather than use globespan again.
Anyhow the plane was soooooo noisey that even with headphones on we couldn't hear the film - so we didn't even bother.
Have a safe flight.
P.S. Hubby thinks it was Kung Fu Panda - that was end of August tho'
