Keep calm & carry on ;)

Shakes & withdrawal symptoms over, feet up, a sherry & a pack of quaver crisps or whatever snack.

Imagine what it was like for me 49 years ago, new to Canada when I couldn't receive BBC world service on a 'shortwave' radio;) depressed I was

A phone call home back to the UK at $1/minute (maybe more) going through an overseas operator in Montreal... no direct dialing

Back then 5 TV channels was it - two Canadian & three US stations

Take me back to the 'good old days' :amen:

::lol

Well wouldn't you know it.

As a result of the original post I tried it and all the mainstream Brit channels were missing apart from BBC News and I posted my 'bugger' comment.

I just tried it and they're all back again. :thumbup:

Yeah but knowing the CBC they will cancel it as its written by Chris Haddock and they cancelled Season 3 of Intelligence.
The Shoot The Messenger on CBC isn't too bad as well.

You make it sound like they have something against Chris Haddock. Having used him for Da Vinci's Inquest, then the sequel Da Vinci's City Hall, then Intelligence and now The Romeo Section, that seems a tad unlikely.

From wiki

There's a theory afloat that CBC Television cancelled the unusually good drama Intelligence in fear of upsetting Canada's New Government, which is thought to be slavering for an excuse to junk the nation's public broadcaster and sell off the parts.
CBC scrapped The Border for no apparent reason...unless that was government related too.

Yes. As you were soldiers. It was obviously a slow day at the office so Harold at FilmOn decided to have a bit of a laugh.

You are correct, Former Lancastrian, we should indeed be supporting Canadian (cough) Tele (cough) - the occasional B movie has a pretty landscape...
