Film The Grey

Watched the film The Grey starring Liam Neeson for the first time the other night.
It had the effect on me about wanting to travel to far north in Canada the same as Jaws done to me about swimming in the sea.
Still thought it was a good film though.
By the way, I do know its set in Alaska

Not quite "Jaws" but it was ok. I did jump in my seat at one point early on.
A guy at my local gym is an extra in the movie.

Agreed , not the same suspense as Jaws, but the thought of being chewed up alive got me.
A good tale of not giving up even when you have nothing left.
The scene where they where taking turns at night watch just after the crash and one of the survivor's goes for a pee and then.... made me jump mate.

In reality they would stay by the plane. No way there would not have been a search for them.

You don't have to go to the far north in Canada to see wolves. I saw lots when I was doing ecological work in Whiteshell Provincial Park in Manitoba. They didn't bother me at all. They were just curious and tended to hang around and watch when I was working but they always kept their distance. Generally, if you don't bother wild animals and stay away from their young, they'll leave you alone.

Yeah of course , but its a film in the end of the day. I would of made something from the wreckage of the plane like a spear or a long bladed weapon, just to keep me a few more feet away from being some chow for a hungry lupus

I've read Bravo Two Zero and everything.......

I watched it for Neeson, usually a fan of his films.
