I think Fergie's going to be another Abramovich, minus the Billions!

So how has nothing to lose .....

Never in a million years! Even if he was the only contender Rafa would never get a job at united (too much of a rival).

Sort of like the current spate of Liverpool managers then

Gonna be someone from Europe I reckon. Unless they can find a UK based one who has been quietly absent for a while !

Charlton fansite plugs Curbs, think there is no chance, however he was a possible contender for England Boss - although, whether that was serious I never knew.

I would love to see Ian Holloway there, just to give his quotes more air-time. Still makes me giggle now:

"To put it in gentleman's terms if you've been out for a night and you're looking for a young lady and you pull one, some weeks they're good looking and some weeks they're not the best. Our performance today would have been not the best looking bird but at least we got her in the taxi. She wasn't the best looking lady we ended up taking home but she was very pleasant and very nice, so thanks very much, let's have a coffee"
- on the "ugly" win against Chesterfield.

Who cares what the Queen has to say about anything, quite frankly. I bet you're one of those weirdos who sits round the TV at Christmas in anticipation of her oh so important speech.

Anyway, a big loss to the game when perhaps the greatest manager ever retires. Legend.

And imagine all the people who would be unemployed without footy in the UK.

Is this job a private sector or public service job?
Does it have a benefit package?
Is it a union job?

Most United fans who are lucky enough to watch them regularly recognise that it's Fergie who has been the difference for the last two titles rather than the first team. How many United players would get into a combined first XI from city, Chelsea and the champions?

Thanks for those trying to keep this on topic x

Re: Fergie Retires

I will create a thread drift!

Where are United going to finish next year?
  • Champions?
  • Champions league?
  • Top half?
  • Mid table?
  • Bottom half?
  • Fighting relegation?
  • Relegated?
