That was very nice, but don't overlook that the Ministry which will take the biggest cut in civil servants (8.7%) is Environment Canada. Which lost 800 scientists already last July. Coincidence?

Is that not the correct thing to do? If you are not going to allow them to discuss their work, or take on board their findings and advice, why pay them?

Paying people lots of money to achieve something you don't want is futile is it not?

You made a very informative and useful post on Family Law earlier today, or perhaps last night.

Have you considered limiting your remarks to things you know something about?

You can't change things unless you engage with the government and there's no point trying to save, say, salmon habitat if you are hamstrung by crap legislation.

Is that not the same as: if we're not going to give people the freedom of speech and opinion shouldn't we just take away all of their resources so that they die?

I posted on another thread (the muzzled scientist one I think) that Canada no longer has an Science policy, merely an Industrial policy.

It's now completely clear that we don't even have that latter, merely a Natural Resources policy.

That's going to solve all the difficulties. Oh yes.

What thoughts did people have on he changes to FSW class of immigration? All those pre-2008 I think scrapped and refunded.
