What are these adverts you speak of?:sneaky::p

Isn't this what PVR's are for, to avoid such intrusions?

Guessing you don't watch any sports then?

PVR'ing a live event and watching it later takes the fun out of it IMO...

Not on TV, no.

However if you don't know the outcome then recording and playing back later works quite well. :p

There is also an advert for some sort of blender thing where there is a couple (he sounds English) who wizz up pesto sauce etc in 10 secs to the "amazement" of the hand picked open mouthed audience.

Well then I guess you won't be watching Pitchmen

The english, Dollars for Gold, guy is Sully.

I now remember the awe inspiring pesto sauce advert.

For me, the most annoying must be Tempurpedic. Someone should tell them that it's not a "sleep system", it's a matress!

Slap Chop ad is annoying, but amusing at the same time, partly as Vince got busted for slapping a hooker, and I recall the tag line for the ad being, for a short while "Be like Vince and slap your troubles away" :D

The Castrol ad with the scottish chap whacking people with a dipstick is annoying.

I agree the "cool students" Roger's ads are seriously annoying, the one where the chap is sliding the keyboard in and out makes me want to take the phone and batter him with it whilst saying "fist in, fist out!" grrrr :D

The Fido ads with people having issues with their land lines and then switching to Fido are starting to annoy me.

I checked out your link and recognised the other gentleman from the pitchmen - the one with the beard. Didn't realise he had died earlier this year which is obviously very sad etc. I remember seeing him do an advert for some type of cleaning product which at the time I thought was probably the "shoutiest" advert I had ever seen.

Another one I saw yesterday which I hadn't seen for a while is the "loud n clear" hearing aid. So bad you might think it's a spoof advert.

Loud and clear is annoying, especially the bit when the kids are in the park and they shout 'wait for me' it sounds like a bloke with tight trousers on. Snuggies is another one. Favourites.....'Viva viagra" really make me laugh cause they are so false:rofl:
