Favourie/irritating adverts

I hate all Rogers adverts especially the ones with the 'cool' i.e. incredibly annoying students in them
I'd never buy a Rogers phone now!
Also can't stand the Heinekin one............and most adverts on TV here actually, they are just annoying, I miss funny adverts. And I miss Billy Mays

I rather miss the bearded git off the Crappy Tire ads. So bad as to be almost deliberate.

I like the Dairy Milk one with the kids eyebrow dance too....
No idea at all what it has to do with selling chocolate, but it makes me laugh anyway.
Mostly I just fast forward through commercials nowadays.

Silk Cut ciggies used the same principle years ago, when direct advertising got banned. Come to think of it, they had the same colour.
Colour is used a lot in advertising and branding.

Yep, that one gets on my goat as well, every time we come out to Canada we find that they are still showing it 'C'MON ALREADY..............', stupid, stupid, stupid!

Slap Chop getting my goat as well - have to endure this at least once a day.... Would love to shove that thing in his face and see what a mess it makes of it

Having just being reminded about this by Flogger, my children are now running around the house saying "Charley says".....

Slap Chop and Sham Wow are pretty bad. The other one that stands out for me is the Dollars for Gold advert where the guy with the English accent shouts through the whole advert.
There is also an advert for some sort of blender thing where there is a couple (he sounds English) who wizz up pesto sauce etc in 10 secs to the "amazement" of the hand picked open mouthed audience.

Adverts?
What are these adverts you speak of?

Isn't this what PVR's are for, to avoid such intrusions?
