Does anyone have a fave kitchen gadget that they love to use or couldn't imagine a kitchen without one???
I have just bought a potato ricer. COOL! It's like a play dough machine for adults. Used it for the 1st time today, think we'll be having mash more often, it (almost) makes up for having to peel the spuds![ROFL](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
DD did think I had lost the plot, I was obviously having too much fun.

The op apparently went to plan, the surgeon said he removed all the 'debris' he hoped to, so now she's off her feet for 2 weeks, then can start some light physio. Recuperation will take about 3mths in total. Fingers crossed it'll alleviate the pain she was getting from bone chips/spurs.
St. Paul's hospital in Vancouver was very efficient, and she got well looked after. Thanks for enquiring after her

I think her surgeon would shudder if her saw her this evening. Tonight's been a comedy - sick horse that developed collic at 9.30pm, so Lyn sat in the barn with her leg resting on a stool and crutches by her side, I dealt with a burst irrigation mainline in the dark, and now we've one of our clients (human) staying overnight while the vet deals with the horse. Oh, and it's week 6 of the monster in law's visit. Lyn's keeping a cheery demeanor though, bless her.

I too brought over my potato ricer (Lakeland) - it's fab (mix your potatoes with artichoke and aisago dip instead of butter Mmm, Mmm, Mmm), but my favourite gadget is my slow cooker!
