Anyone else watch some of the shows from Britain?

Last winter I got in to Spooks, really like that show. Could not get in to Survivors at first but watched it a few days ago and seemed good, so will keep watching, see how it goes. Always Corrie, East Enders I started watching last year. Then of course there is Build a New Life in the Country and so forth. Anyone else a fan of certain shows?

Primeval although rather formulaic was good for a while. Beautiful people (allegedly) being chased by dinosaurs, what more could one ask for? (Beautiful people being chased, caught and eaten by dinosaurs. It had that too.)

Using the same CGI as "Walking with dinosaurs" but more along the line of 'being chased and eaten by dinosaurs". Corny, but watchable. They are currently filming seasons 4&5 after rescuing it from cancellation oblivion.

I just watched Paradox.

That wasn't bad.

Currently halfway through series two of Ashes To Ashes as well.

BBC Canada has a very limited choice of UK shows and many are dated. To get current programming you will need to get BBC iPlayer through the computer. There are many ways of doing so, some of which are free. It costs me $20 monthly which gives me live BBC and ITV along with BBC iPlayer Desktop and both iPlayers. I also get 4oD and SeeSaw.

Doctor Who (first episode of the new series was on last weekend, was very good in my opinion), TV Burp (been a long term fan of Harry since the channel 4 days) and of course Top Gear

I get all these on bittorrent pretty easily. TheBox.bz is great though I got banned from there for too much downloading and not enough uploading so now I have to use public ones which aren't so good.

That Fawlty Towers is a good show. But its got that wacky British humor so its not to everybody's taste.

We receive a tremendous number of brit comedies through our two pbs stations - keeping up appearances, as time goes by, waiting for god, all creatures great and small.....all the old timeless ones, and some new ones i.e., doc martin....

My favourites are (in no particular order) yes prime minister, all creatures great and small, doc martin etc....

I enjoyed reading all the input on the Brit. tv shows everyone sent. I cannot get the IPlayer Access and will keep the way of getting it by paying mthly. in mind. Am like Mr Lee, get British shows on PBS, am watching Doc Martin right now. All creatures and Lark Rise I get also, have seen them before but I dont care, I love the shows. My one show I don't like to miss is Spooks, I get my fix on that tonight! Oh, So many shows, so little time!
