Ok, its that time of year when those of us out east can post photos to compete with mountains and bears and "stuff"
Here are some taken from my phone, through the car window, while moving, on my way to work. Hence the quality. You cant quite see the Calgary sunset though much to my disappointment.

It's slightly too early here and it was raining today but I took a few while driving the OH to work this morning. The one not from the car is our roof.

No chance of anything so spectacular here in Calgary.
Here are some from the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary taken this afternoon.
Picures 1 & 2 are of the sanctuary, picture 3 is downtown from the bird sanctuary and picture 4 is just a "Bum View".
Cheers

We seem to have a lot of the yellow hues to our autumn colours but not really many deep oranges or reds - I'm presuming that is the 'fault' of the type of trees we have out here
Still - very pretty in parts but no photos yet.
I will post this one though - taken on Friday morning above Cochrane - half of the town can be seen, then some is blocked out by the low-lying mists, then the mountains are clear behind. Dead purdy, I thought :

There aren't too many leaves left on the trees here. But they have funny things hiding in the bushes.

I took this photo from my living room window, the deer path is just across from our house, Archie must have supper sensitive hearing cos he's in the window before I see them. He then thinks he's a sheepdog and wants to herd them up, I daren't let him out

Some beautiful shots folks. Like the other Alberta based contributors to this thread, we're struggling to find the oranges and reds that make (in our view) for a truly spectacular autumnal shot, but we've been pleased enough with these efforts. It's a fabulous time of year...love it.

We don't have the maples (oranges and reds) in this province because they just don't grow here.
If you want spectacular fall colours head east young man.

No colour but how about these cute little critters. Lots and lots of young in the garden this year

Give me a couple of days. The colours are there but I want to take a pic in sunshine.
Coming in to land in Ottawa on Friday, I though the ground was on fire.
