Windy and cold in Comox, Vancouver Island yesterday. Just grey and damp today. It's too wet to cut the grass or do any gardening, not wise to haul my recycle box out for collection, not worth while washing the car, don't have to sit outside pretending to enjoy burning stuff on a barbecue or rushing off with a ton of camping gear to enjoy the great outdoors. Getting my money's worth out of my wellies. Feels just like summer in the UK.

All you Vancouverites should stop moaning! The weather has been soooo much better here than at home. Last year was an awful summer in the UK and it hasn't changed since. They had 1 week of Okish weather around the Bank Hol. Middle of the month Devon Dorset and Wales woke up to 2 1/2 inches of snow!!

All you Vancouverites should stop moaning! The weather has been soooo much better here than at home. Last year was an awful summer in the UK and it hasn't changed since. They had 1 week of Okish weather around the Bank Hol. Middle of the month Devon Dorset and Wales woke up to 2 1/2 inches of snow!!
