Default Is England sinking?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7086280.stm

Caught this on the news tonight. Supposed to be a main threat at around 7am, I will be asleep at that time and won't know whats happened until at least lunchtime so I hope every one still there is OK.

Not so much England sinking as the water rising. Somewhat irrelevant though to those in the way of the water. We had a similar threat this past spring with the river threatening to flood because of a high snow pack. Not a pleasant prospect. Lets send karma to all in the flood zone.

It's looking like it's not going to be as bad as they initially thought.

They raised the Thames barrier but it wasn't as big a surge as they thought, tide is now receding from what they say.

Also on the coast it's not as high a expected, don't know anything else yet.

Oh hang on.......they have changed their mind now and are saying we'll have to see, so maybe it's not over yet. Don't ya just love British weather forcasts.

We live on the Norfolk coast so if anything happens i'll take some piccies. Its not been too bad, sea came over the road etc but no more than on a normal high tide here anyway.
