Duchess in Labour

She's eventually gone into Labour and managed to get into the hospital without being seen by any of the press camped outside which I think is great
Anyway, Boy or girl - limited time to vote before it's announced obviously !

It'll take a while to come out, what with it being born with a silver spoon in its mouth.

I know that nobody else in the world does pageantry like us Brits, so I think it would be great if the doctor who peered up and rummaged in the Royal hoo-ha gets his eyes plucked out and his hands chopped off afterwards at the Tower of London.
Boris Johnson could wield the eye-spoon and Ant & Dec could each chop off one hand.

I assume it's a girl due to all the morning sickness and also because she had some problems with her skin (these usually indicate girl). Having said that, apparently we're having a girl, and I've had no morning sickness and my skin is better than ever (but I'm having 'boy vibes'...).
As I'm currently pregnant myself, I'm part of a Canadian group for 'moms to be' and I was a bit surprised to notice today a thread right at the top discussing the royal birth. They're biggest worry is that Kate will 'steal' their baby names

It would be great is she named the baby Chardonnay!

Come on be real people, they wont go for common names like Chardonnay.
I'm sure something like 'apple' or 'North' will be more suitable...

As Alan2005 so memorably wrote on another subject, before the lure of the opium dens of northern Thailand took him from us, number of ****s given = 0.

As recently discussed on BE, not everyone is enamoured with that particular name...

Darling, that's just so last century. Grape names need to move on... I think Princess Gewürztraminer has a certain ring to it. Princess Grenache or Prince Merlot, anyone? Prince Zinfandel probably sounds a bit too hip for a Royal baby, though.
