It's in my calendar too, hope to be there, also hoping that number 1 son will still be home between Uni and starting his job so he can ferry me to and from the GO train.

Me three...
Although there are some complicated childcare arrangements to be made. The husband is working that weekend, but it's ultimately doable! I've mentioned it to Segs too, who's just moved over!

I can't do the 2nd, husband's parents are visiting, but I'll try to be at the next one!
(I could have done the 25th!)
Looking forward to the next one though!

Well we're definitely going to be there. I have even booked a hotel. We'll stroll round the AGO on Friday, drinkies with BE chums in the evening. St Lawrence market on Saturday, or maybe the other way around.
Seems like a damn fine arrangement to me.

Where are you booking. Close to The Scotland Yard wherever it may be...?

A la Bridget Jones?
Well I booked on Hotwire and hoped I was getting The Novotel which is right by Scotland Yard, all the signs indicated it was so, but instead we have the Eaton Chelsea. That's handy for the AGO so no worries.

We stayed there when we first moved to Canada, it was the Delta Chelsea in those days. A weird week, 4 people and 12 suitcases in a standard hotel room, it was cramped but, on the whole, a week with good memories.

If I were going to the Yard, I'd book at the Novotel on the Esplanade. It's across the street and has a nice pool/hot tub.
