Default Doctor Who

I'm not going to give anything away, (I don't see how it can be avoided over the coming weeks) but those interested might want to check out BBC1 @ 7.00pm tonight but also 'LIVE' on Space in 90 minutes or so.

....... And on a slight tangent, David Tennant stars in the UK crime drama 'Broadchurch' tonight on Showtime channel. I have already seen it and its worth seeing.

Well, at least it's not a ginger
Interesting choice. I was somewhat hoping for it to be John Hurt, and for the next season to be all about how his Doctor came to be, and how nasty and horrible the Doctor can be. I guess the 50th special will deal with some of that though, but I'm sure it could be expanded upon.

Not sure how they will bring him in - considering he had a big role in Torchwood and has been in Dr Who before - Pompeii!

Well Spotted 4 Bells, I remembered the Torchwood, but knew I'd seen him in something else!

Apparently it's happened a few times. Some characters in stuff like CSI and Laura Norder are played by actors in a different role previously.

The actor from the Titanic episodes (also Being Human), who David Tennant set up with Captain Jack, was a candidate before Matt Smith took over - and again this time.

James Corden too.

Colin Baker had a role before he became the doc - seems he shot at Peter Davison's doc in the series just before he took over.

Good choice IMHO - especially as one of the other suggestions was Billie Piper

I'm a Tom Baker/David Tennant fan as the Doctor.
