Today is the last time in your life that you can see the transit of Venus, our closest planetary neighbour, across the sun.
Heres how to watch safely.

I went home with the best intentions, to find one kid with a fever, the other with a sunburn , and my better half (whos recovering from surgery) with a honeydo list the length of my arm.
Totally forgot about the transit till coming home from band practice and seeing the lovely sunset. Bugger. Oh well, such is life.

I could barely see the sun! Oh well, I'll have to wait until 2117. Because I'm sure by then with global warming the sky will be much clearer.
