Default Diatomaceous Earth - where to buy?

Can anyone suggest a good source for DE? Would I be able to order from the US and have it shipped across the border? I can't find any information on the border sites.

I have not ordered from them, but they seem to sell what you want.

Please Select from the Following Sizes... – DiatomaceousEarth.ca

You might be able to find it at an aquarium store, some use it in their aquariums, but I never have, but some speciality stores may sell it.

Health Canada control the importation of food stuffs and pest controls. If you mention you want to use it as pest control and it does not have a registration number, it won't get it. If it is for food use then should not be a problem. Call Health Canada and ask, although I am sure there are easier way to control fleas on a dog.

I prefer not to use pills for things like that. I have some other natural options so will look at them instead.

I've just never found a natural anything to be effective in killing flea's.

We don't use a pesticide, the pill prevents the flea from forming a skeleton effectively killing the cycle since they can't reproduce.

Strictly speaking, anything used to kill a pest is a pesticide, even soap and water.

You can also get it from Canadian Tire - I bought a bottle or three from there when we had bedbugs a few years back. IIRC it's in with the pesticides.....
