A trival difference. A matter of a few percent in tax and a few filings not covered. It may be a significant difference between two jobs but not between two countries.

I expect you've heard this before but you want to look up Beaver Valley.

It's lovely and it's quite near.

I can not believe how ridicoulous that article was. I have never heard of such rubbish.
I do believe that we are all entitled to our own opinions ,and it has not all been plain sailing for us either, but to go so far to say Canada is a third world country is nuts. To say it is a very expensive country to live in is also wrong, this person has obviously not been back to England for a while!

As for Canadians working 2 or 3 jobs just to survive!! What a laugh.

This article portrayed Canadians as complete money grabbing uncaring idiots which could not be further than the truth.

I really hope no one out there believes it is like this because it isn't , not by a long shot.

hear hear!

But then we are all a bunch of snivelling sheep who just have no clue how horriblr our live really are.

I was just in the UK and found things to be very expensive compared to here. Most things were the same in pounds as they would have been in the Canuck buck.

The US has one the highest murder rate with handguns in the world.

I use a fair amount of British slang-and encourage my British friends to further my education in that regard as much as possible.

I very much doubt that. What numbers are you using for South Africa and Namibia?
