I opted for the $9 option!

How does that work???

The rates are bonkers, I can mail a parcel to the US cheaper then to someone in BC.... Boggles the mind Canada Post does.

Excuse me, Canada Post, but where is my package, exactly? Screenshot by Lightshot

That reminds me of a christmas gift that I ordered in December 2013 that ended up being delivered to an address in Montreal (instead of Hamilton) - and signed for. Someone got lucky I suppose!

It took me 3 months to get a refund, sigh.

Argh. Mine ended up being delivered about 2-3 hours after it was "reported" in Dundas. So probably just a glitch fortunately.

Canada Post reckons it delivered a parcel to me last Sunday... Never mind that CP doesn't deliver here on Sundays.

Amazon reckons said parcel is in Mississauga, having traveled from there to Montreal, and back again ...

In the meantime, Canada Post also reckons another parcel is in Gatineau; they delivered it here yesterday ...

Good ole CP, always on their feet to do their best for their customers

Its been said alot in this very thread but shipping and online shopping really sucks in Canada.

Good news is the one we are waiting on was updated today, says it arrived in Canada (again) on January 4 and cleared customs today, so maybe it will be here by next week sometime.

Good Heavens! Delivery is strictly M-F here, year round.

The MIA Amazon package turned up today, along with an identical one I wasn't expecting: my sister sent me the exact same cookery book for my Christmas present!

I always thought "cooking for two" was a book of recipes for two not two books. ;)

Re: Dear Canada Post, We Need To Talk.

Here is one for the kicker, a parcel from China got here faster then one from California which says Friday delivery.

Still haven't figured out why it takes Canada Post 3 days to do the final 80km or so, if it was processed for delivery in Richmond, BC yesterday, you think it could be brought here within 24 hours, or even 48 hours, but consistently takes 3 days to do that final leg.

Seems to be the least efficient processing facility known to man, so much for new modern facilities being better, never took this long when they used the old place downtown Vancouver...lol
