Default Credit Card with Mortgage??

Stupid questions again!! So we have a mortgage and car loan here, but still I cant seem to get a credit card. Our PR application is in process, but most credit cards say that you have to have your PR status. Our credit rating is good so just want to know if anyone has got one that they don't have to pay for, without being PR? I don't want a huge one, a 500 limit would be sufficient.

Well actually I'll modify that slightly... our credit rating is good as we have only had our mortgage and car loan for 2 months!! Hence, I'm not sure if it would even show up as established on the credit bureau rating.

From what I'm aware, most companies want 6 months of credit history to give you a credit card. We ended up with a secured card with TD, basically meant that we had to leave $1000 in a savings account at all times until we'd had it for a few months and they lifted that restriction, I think that's something that most banks offer. Other than that, the only one I know is Capitol One, who will give you $2-300 but charge you an annual fee.
