Default That cream............

Does anyone know the equivalent of this cream or its availability in Canada, and where can one acquire it from? Apparently it is very good if you like to lubricate your heart every now and then.

Talking of cream...when I was back in the UK I was searching for the equivalent of 10% coffee cream. Couldn't find it anywhere.

What the hell do they call Coffee cream in the UK??

Do they both exist in Canada? Specifically Alberta.

Shouldn't think so. But there again neither does Tesco.

It's almost as if Alberta were in a foreign country!!!

Would Devonshire cream do it for you?

If so Safeway in with the other creams usually on the top shelf. There really is no Canadian equivalent at least not here in Alberta. Whipping cream is about as close as you're going to get.

Fortino's used to sell it, for a very brief period of time. I've searched high and low for extra thick double cream - or even double cream, but not had any luck. Someone told me the Mennonite Markets sometimes have it, but I have not been to one yet.

If you find some, let me know!

Cooking cream is slightly thicker than whipping cream, if you can find it.

I did a quick google and found loads of stuff to say double or whipping cream was okay.

Which stores? Any of them that sells milk?

Argh this percentage business on milk boxes is ever so confusing. I liked the red, green, and blue labelling much better back home.

Skimmed milk for cereal and tea, coffee black and whipping cream for sweet things.

It's even passable on scones with jam.

(my mother in law has coffee cream in her coffee...that's easy too )

I find planet organic or community sell these proper creams. Whipping cream isn't quite the same as they put a load of gums in it.
