I just go for the $1.50 hot dog and drink when the wife is in Costco with her mother.

So ... What do I do? I can't grow my own, mostly, cos it's too bloody cold, i'm not the best of gardeners either...but I do try. I went to 'The Great Gathering' for two solid days, I signed up for every food group going, and was led to 'the Solid Food connexion'. It might be Solid, but it's also rubbish, and expensive rubbish at that. It's all Never Never Land here. People don't really give a stuff what they put inside themselves. That being said, my husband came home ths weekend (yeah) and he tells me that our Costco here in Fredericton is far quieter and bigger and nicer than any of the others he has visited in other places. I don't want quantity, I want quality, but that really seems a big ask here. I will defend my Costco choice, I talk to people in there and we talk about food and recipes, this has to be a plus?
