It has been diagnosed that my daughter as non-small cell carcinoma lung cancer. She is currently in the hospital having been brought there by ambulance this morning because she couldn't breath.

Please offer affirmative thoughts and vibes for her during this time.

I am so very sorry to hear this. Hopefully she will be back home in no time. My thoughts are with you, Lisa and the family. I wish I was there to give you a hug my friend.

656 cases of COVID-19 for Tuesday, Dec. 1 in BC. Hospitalizations up 20 from yesterday, ICU up 1, and 16 deaths.

My health authority region has been doing 800-1,200 tests per day looking at the dashboard, I wonder what the back log is, considering how long it is taking for results.

if airlines insist on passengers being vaccinated before they fly you might not be able to get tgere for that shot

England has come out of national lockdown (hooray!!) and entered into a Tiered phase. Those areas in Tier 1 (pink) will have many restrictions relaxed, but those areas in Tiers 2 (orange) and 3 red) remain in restrictions. But it's not a national lockdown, oh no!!

Adult indoor sports is now banned completely. People were not listening. An adult old timers hockey team going to Alberta and bringing back a special gift, which then infected their family and co-workers seems to have been the final straw.

She is asking people not to travel and just stay home.

"I cannot order you not to get into a car or get onto a plane, but I'm asking you to stay home," she said.

Memo going around on reddit apparently shows staff in some Alberta hospitals having to ration oxygen supplies to patients.

Is Alberta reaching their breaking point hospital wise?

It's amazing that there are so many Covidiots about at this stage of the second wave. I suppose those most likely breach the guidelines are most likely to be infected, and experience some impact.
