Default Condor Airlines

Hello everyone -

Jim and I are starting to explore prices to fly to europe next spring/fall. We've come across some excellent prices by Condor Airlines.

We have never heard of them before, but Im sure the more world travellers here will have some knowledge.

Does anyone have any info about them and/or flown with them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated - and karma will be sent.

Thanks.

Google turns up this:

I believe they were originally part of the Luftwaffe.

we've used them quite a few times over the last 4 years and they are very good, one of the few options from Halifax to Europe during the summer. Usually have to fly to Germany first though and then transfer to destination (Paris and Lyon for us)
Never had problems with flight cancellations, delays etc.
If the kids are flying to Europe then they also use Iceland air - don't know if you've checked their prices too?
Air Canada also have some good prices at the moment for flights to Europe

Thanks everyone. Knew I could count on you.

Val - thanks so much - this is exactly the type of info we were looking for. We've been searching through expedia, orbitz etc and hadnt noticed iceland air - but will have another look now that you mentioned it.

We are hoping to have a stopover in heathrow either coming or going so I can stock on my cadbury chocolate......

Thanks again val.
