Funnily enough the same producer does double cream and Creme fraiche here. My GF spotted it in Sobeys yesterday!

Which one?

Not a person that liked 'clotted cream'. Any of you tried sour cream on fruit or fruit pie...works for me

I've put Gay Lea Gold Premium (18%) sour cream on weetabix before, lol. It's as thick as the extra thick double cream back in the UK, with a slightly citrus flavour... it was ummm different!

It's the only sour cream I like.

:)

The one on Vaughan Harvey just south of Main St had the double cream. GF seems to think that its worth looking at the one at Champlain Mall for the clotted as they have a larger dairy and deli section. I am not a fan of Sobeys but they are starting to win me over :p:rofl:

They had sold out of Scones but GF was told you can ring the day before and they will bake them for you

Never tried this - usually have sour cream with savoury dishes. Creme fraiche in scrambled eggs is delicious

Not been to the VH one for a while. I'm always looking for surprises but never seen anything other than the usual creams.

Time to check again.

Double Cream at Vaughan Harvey: As you go through the door the produce is directly in front of you. Turn left towards the checkouts and the first aisle is deli counters. About halfway up on the left. If you get to the cheese counter you have gone too far

Creme Fraiche at Champlain Mall: Its on the top of the stand alone cheese cabinet near the cake counter.

Good luck
