Hi there- has anyone got recent experience of claiming their UK pension? The website is confusing to me- not sure if I can just do this over the phone with them or whether I have to send in the claim form? Thanks in advance

I believe you can do it online but only if they've sent you something with a reference number.

You can do it by phone but you'll still need to send docs.

I did mine all by mail, a few months ago, as they never sent me what I needed to do it on line.

Thanks Bristol for the reply- how long did it take for them to process? Did you send via registered mail or courier? We had paid in extra to top up so I had already answered a lot of the questions I see on the form.at that time..should I just photocopy the information I had given them before and include with package?

Not done yet - I actually asked them to slow it down to give CRA time to get their act together on the taxation issue.
