Am now waiting for UPS to pick it up.
Suprisingly the form filling was the easy part :0
The UPS bit took 3 phone calls due to their website throwing up seemingly random errors
So now we wait ( and wait and wait and wait and wait............)

Exactly one year ago we sent ours away.
Got confirmation that they had received it in February.
Got a letter 4 weeks ago addressed to my wife saying they needed written proof she wanted her married name on the citizenship card. WTF??
Anyway, sent that off 4 weeks ago.
The wait goes on.
Should have applied for Burkino Faso citizenship. Could have had that 12 times by now.

Congratulations, I am hoping that by the time we can apply in 2012 that they will have speeded up the application process....

We are waiting on a copy of a COPR before we can send the application off.
Congratulations on getting it all together!

We had to do a last minute dash to the safe-deposit box to recover ours , btw they're a pain to photocopy. Mind you so were the pr card and two other pieces of ID . Why do governments insist you photocopy stuff that is blatantly designed not to be photocopied ?

<should I have used caps lock?>

I discovered our copier actually has an ID setting that rather niftily copies one side and then the other and prints them underneath each other , it also optimizes the settings for non copyable ID
Now I know I need to change jobs when that is the highlight of my day
