Christmasoompa!
Every time my 2 year old son sees the dog in your profile picture (is it your dog?), he giggles and points and says "woof woof" 
He loves dogs and cats and always insists on going up to say "hiya" when he sees one in the street!

Yep, that's my dog (Welsh Springer Spaniel) and you can tell your son that he is the most stupid dog in the world and has the IQ of your average toothbrush. He is very gorgeous and an integral part of the family though, if a little daft.
