Default Christmas shopping

Anyone done theirs? I got all the UK and US stuff done but none here and tbh I just can't seem to face actually going into a proper shop. I start off with good intentions and think, well, I'll just pop into this pub and have a cheeky pint beforehand well, thats the end of the day.

It's the thought that counts mate.

You started off with the good intentions and that is all that matters.

I'm stuck in Toronto this year so thankfully have zero gifts to buy. Just give the stores a wide berth till February other than groceries.

I predict this afternoon will be full of good intentions.

I've Bah Humbugged just the basics, so not into it this year, my sister reckons Christmas should only happen on leap years, I like that thinking.

I am intending to do it tomorrow we have just had really odd weather here, and I just didn't feel festive before....which is not really an excuse. I have done the 'big' Prezzie stuff for our son, and a really nice thing for my husband but nothing, little, nice and loving! Tomorrow Regent Mall here I come...I think?

I only buy gifts for a small portion of the family, impossible to buy everyone something, but they all got cards.

I did all my shopping on Amazon.com for the family since they are in the US, last one should be delivered tomorrow.

No stress or frustration at all, and Amazon even wrapped them for me.

I'll never buy gifts in a store again...

Got mine done couple days ago, just last minute eggs and milk and such to settle in for a couple days.

If you are waiting till the last day to go shopping in Canada,
unless a lot has changed, it will be a looong day.

Completed ours at ASDA here in the UK this morning, last few things, well under a basket full, but at 9am all the checkouts were open, and busy, and all the self service points also in use. Person behind us must have had well over £100 worth of booze, checkout woman asked her to lay them down so they didn't fall and smash.

This Christmas shopping is proving a lot more elusive and distracting than I thought. One thing I've learnt is not to shop on an empty stomach.

Same, I have done precisely no shopping this year, not even bought gifts. Just got back from work and really can't be bothered with it all.
