Tomorrow we're having ham, veggies, and roasties. Trifle for afters. Boxing Day we are feeding a shift worker a full English. I've made the sausages and bought good bacon. We have black pudding, mushrooms and UK beans.

It's 1.40pm Christmas Day here right now
A hot and very windy day.
I'm doing a full roast turkey with all the trimmings. Also have a pud and pies.
After that we will live off leftovers as we also have a festive ham to get through.

My mince pies turned out to be special needs mince pies. Rolled the pastry too thinly and put too much mixture in them. Still taste good though.

I had an egg with bacon and cheese on a croissant with a side of tater tots....

We didn't do anything special, but that is what I had for Christmas Breakfast at work.

We overdid it. Remind me next xmas not to have three feasts on consecutive days.

A late night on xmas eve meant I was up later than usual xmas day, which meant a late breakfast and a later, but not big, lunch and I didn't really have the appetite come dinner.

And then today's was just too much. The turkey thighs were huge.

I need to space it all much better next year.

Oh...and I forgot to do the chestnuts

For leftover/forgotten chestnuts (I’ve used turkey stock instead of ham stock in the past and chucked in leftover scraps of the bird at times as well).

Cheers.
Looks nice but it's only a small bag. Could make a small one I suppose but I reckon I'll try the stuffing version the next time we'll have a stuffing. Next roast pork or chicken I imagine.
