I am an Expat Brit in Toronto. I run a group that meet and play backgammon for a bit of social fun. Yep, random....perhaps a little lame, but alas it is a good for unplugging and getting out of the four walls and meeting other folks. Free to come and play....not much you can do without someone's hand in your pocket these days. Generally a mixed bag of folks turn up. We are at a pub so you can always have a bevy and some grub if nothing else

If you are looking a at the ceiling tomorrow and need to get out you will always be welcome. We will be meeting at 1pm in Etobicoke. If you can find the kids board in the boxes that you did not open even better...bring it!

PS. You really need to get rid of the Dignity Funeral ad as it really interferes with posting.

The adds are linked to cookies on your computer AFAIK, so if you delete history and cookies ect then search for kittens and puppies you should get better adds

If this is true the ad for home pet euthanasia I am getting doesn't bode well for the dog. I wonder who googled it??

Perhaps we're all doomed.

I'm getting ads for restaurants and auto trader's atv's and sea-doo's. There's also one for health insurance showing a couple who look perfectly healthy.
