some of the automated phone menus are like this too, i hate the accent i have to put on to get through to some of them!

the UK ones weren't much better, they could only understand English accents!

Well, the best one (or most accurate, in my limited experience) is the one built in as part of iOS. When you can dictate, a little microphone will appear on the keyboard... just press that. It may be like Siri and only work when you're on wifi.... not tested it yet!

Both google voice and siri have their strengths in different areas.
