I really liked the 80's TV show Night Court.
Night Court was good, and it was a spring-board for a couple of other careers too. Anderson was on Cheers intermittently as Harry the Hat, but I can barely remember him on there.

I did see a program once that noted many famous performers that died age 27. The only one I can remember off the top of my head is Jim Morrison, but there were many.

Maybe because they're plucked from obscurity at 21-22, thrust into the limelight for 4-5 years, then replaced by the next big thing.
