Just added mine

Just a few things: David Attenborough will be protected at all costs (according to many internet memes)

and Im taking personal time from work if David Jason goes and watching Touch of Frost episodes and Only Fools and Horses - I wont be able to deal with it :(

I refuse to believe either of these will die yet!

Om Puri just died from a heart attack at 66. Incredibly versatile fun man, he was in a host of great stuff, East is East and just recently The Hundred Foot Journey.

just updated mine. Took Phil the Greek off as not worth the effort for only a handful of points: that pretty much guarantees he'll be gone by month's end as he's been on my list since we first did this on here... Replaced with Joost vdW, who would be a genuine loss to the world of rugby but is apparently quite ill (and quite young...)

OK. I'm guilty of having started this franchise several years ago, so I'll play this time.

I see my runners have much in common with AXP's

Internet says the same for Betty White.

I'll admit the day Betty White dies, will be a sad day, she has been around on TV and films my entire life, and my parents entire life, and pretty much any day of the week, somewhere on cable you can find a show with her in it airing at least once per day.

Still acting at 94 though.

One of the radio stations awhile back did a trivia segment called "What's Older: Betty White Edition" and it was all just trivia comparing what was older, Betty White or random objects. From memory:

Betty White or the Stapler?
Betty White or the Telephone?
Betty White or Velcro?

Spoiler:
Stapler - 1877, Telephone - 1876, Velcro - 1955

I have to admit I have no idea who that is. Probably the same as you have no idea who David Jason or David Attenborough are lol

I suppose it's British treasures and American treasures in regards to aging celebrities.

My selection is mainly just wishful thinking especially with the infamous people I have on there. Keith Richards is just because of the amount of drugs he has consumed throughout the decades.

I know who David Attenborough is. I am a wildlife documentary junkie and he has narrated/hosted a whole lot of them. With him as narrator or host, the networks in the US didn't dub over with an american narrator, so he has appeared a lot on various networks like Discovery and PBS and such.

His brother as well, Jurassic Park.

I have no idea who David Jason is.

Betty White is pretty much America's grandma.

James Corden did something similiar when she was on his show last year.

David Jason. A very talented actor, mostly known for portraying Delboy in Only Fools and Horses. He gives me the creeps.

He is most famous for Delboy but I like him more as Jack in Touch of Frost

He was Granville in Open All Hours, a more sympathetic character.
