Cat what cat
#1
One of the builders came and asked should our cat be out with her kittens yesterday, as the title says cat what cat we don't have one,
We live in the middle of the countryside on the edge of a small village so know all the pets in the area,
there are ferral cats around but haven't seen this one for about a year, she used to use our barn ( which is being converted ) she came from the direction of an old derilict coach house ? she has we think 5 kittens, ( so cute ) look around 6-8 weeks she was moving them one at a time in her mouth,
not sure what to do now, i don't want to see them hurt, there are lots of foxes around here also they will breed etc
I put some dog food out and all of it went within mins although i didn't see them eat it ?
Would the animal rescue come and catch them ?? what to do ?
one more thing looks like mum is injured in one eye poss blind

I would take them all to a a no-kill shelter, the kittens for sure will get snapped up in a few days and mother cat can get checked out.

Scoop 'em all up and take 'em to rescue. Wood Green's cat place is out Royston way, I can't think of the name of the place right now - maybe it'll come to me?????

Yes that's the place Heydon - it's where we got our cat from. Coffeepot - this place is dedicated to just cats (or it was), where as the Godmanchester one is all sorts of animals!
I'm not sure what you could do to get nearer the Mum - good luck though!

latest deadline of 17th isn't going to happen, the plasterers are here,
he did fix the leak that he told me was just waiting to happen, lucky he was here eh
, He will be back after the plasterers have finished, they have towers up so he can't get in the new kitchen, ( if you saw him you would see why hahah )
hopefully they will finish very soon
Had the environmental peeps here yesterday to check the air quality after the oil leak

We are looking for a holiday as soon as they walk out the door, preferably one where i can just lay by a pool all day

Refresh then house on the market and hope it sells
back on track again i hope, still no update letter though. You settled in your new place ?

Don't buy any lottery tickets just yet.

You've got an indoor pool in the boiler room (courtesy of the plumber). Just get a couple of sun lamps and loungers.

I have called them, they weren't very forthcoming with advice, they are inundated with domestic cats and animals that need homing im afraid,
On the up side there are 3 kittens this morning the black one has come back, i just fed them, well when i say fed them i left the food about 2 mts away
mum was back up and hissing as usual, but the kittens are still takeing milk from her, so cute
It was a like a scene out of Bambi this morning Dear walking by, the kittens all feeding, Partridge that has decided our garden ( esp where i am seeding the lawn ) is now his home, despite the dogs, they don't seem bothered, also have a family of Ducklings up the road
