Yes if they keep up their slap shooting and their line changes. The other team is not as good and tend to lose their momentum in the middle of the ice rink. They must keep pressure on the team's goal and keep feeding in passes to their other players and then converting them into goals and then they'll lift the trophy at the end of the game.

If the Canuckleheads win tonight, they'll be one step closer to playing another game.

Boston's to lose? A lot of people I've been talking with lately seem to think that Tampa could edge past Boston.. I used my extremely limited hockey knowledge to predict Tampa & San Jose in the final.. Although I'd like to see Vancouver win it of course!

Re: Canucks for the cup?
Sedins haven't done a great deal, but they may suddenly click....you don't become bad players overnight. However it is the rest of the players that are stepping it up, Kesler, Raymond and Higgins had a great game and Luongo seems to have got over that Chicago fright.
Go Canucks Go JET:) |

Anyone else think that best of 7 is a little excessive? Best of 5 perhaps? Also.. is constant OT periods really more exciting than a shoot out?

Re: Canucks for the cup?
Well they 3 for 1 now, & with 1 more win and they go to the west final.
Will they win the SC. Not keen on Van but be nice to see a Canadian team win it. Bit like wanting Manure to beat Baca, best of a bad job really. |

All exciting stuff, and yes Canucks making hard work of this. But who would have though that Detroit would be coming back at San jose.....all games are hard fought and makes this an exciting playoffs.

I can draw parallels between Cauncks and England fans. They both want to believe but both know that it will more than likely end in huge disappointment! There's a nervous air every time they hit the ice.

At least there is no chance we will be beaten in a penalty shootout by the Germans.
Dany Heatley, San Jose winger, born Freiburg, West Germany. Marco Sturm, Boston winger, born Dingolfing, Germany....... ;) |
