Question Canada RIT

Just a bit confused so I know my expat friends will be able to shed some light

We filed our first Canadian tax return at the end of March 2012 with H & R Block, they advised us that we should receive a certain amount back each.

As we do still have a UK property that we rent out the paperwork was sent to the international tax office for checking and also as its our first tax return.

I checked our bank account today and an amount from "Canada RIT" has been deposited, this is where my confusion starts, the amount deposited is $400 less than what we were expecting as a joint amount!

Could this be a joint deposit? is so why would it be less than expected?
Or could this be just MrUs3 payment with a bit more added and mine is waiting to be deposited?

We havent received any paperwork from anyone since submitting our return.

This is all new to us so my appologies if this sounds rather weird.

Your individual assessment forms will be mailed to you and usually show up shortly after your refund has been deposited into your account.

Thanks for the replies we received our cheques about 2 months after submitting, apparently as it was our first one and that we had a uk property the paperwork was sent to the international office
