No, it's got a bit passe - can't really see the point anymore.

I don't mind either way, it's a laugh but if others don't want it, it's fine.

I thought "a bit passe - can't really see the point" was actually quite a mild way of saying no.

Can we make up new categories for ourselves to win?! Stinkypup could get "most likely to hijack a thread" etc

I'd get 'consistently a bit dull'

There's some nauseatingly lovey behaviour going on in this thread

Rivington and Siouxie, Tootle and SP... Are you all trying to win votes?

Now that would be difficult seeing as how we don't have categories or voting yet -- but now you come to mention it, that's not a bad idea!

Ahhh.. Don't feel side-lined We could devise the "Roberto-Tiritory Heal the World award"- would that cheer you up?

Alright, alright, alright we are trying to spruce the awards up! Not kill them entirely.

We should run with most of the previous awards although perhaps we could implement a hall of fame and lifetime achievement award this time round.

We shouldn't be de-valuing the prestige of the most coveted award ceremony in expat public forum's around the globe.

Members invest hours every year in the pursuit of excellence and now "the PC brigade" want awards for all.

If MandyMooChops could see what you were trying to do she'd be furious.

Don't wake the sleeping elephant my friend!
