Unless of course you are subliminally telling us that you are a ladies panties wearing person? Which might just explain a lot....however, I won't judge you

It will tell you where it was made right on the label. And if it doesn't contain quinine as an ingredient, then it wasn't imported. I'm speaking only about Irn Bru here.

Nothing wrong with wearing ladies knickers, young man. Why should they get all the frilly bits? Not too keen on the stringy ones though, they tend to chafe the old saddlebags.

I do like a chortle at my own jokes, yes. So if you reckon Marmite is pants, does that mean trousers? Or boxers? Or knickers?

Yes, definitely imported. What I meant was that, if there's an official import by at least one big firm (Loblaws) of a product made by an enormous company (Unilever) I find it pretty unlikely that any Canadian food safety standards have been breached. It is possible that the stuff made for export to Canada has a slightly different ingredients list to the variety made for UK consumption so maybe that explains the story?
But on the other hand your mind does play tricks on you, when they have green ketchup around St. Patrick's day in certain restaurants I could swear it has some mint taste to it but it doesn't. I really have to concentrate. And then I realize it tastes of sugar, not tomato.
