You might want to look at other options. Have you consider a move to Columbia? It's like Canada, it begins with 'c', just the winters are less harsh and it's a bit further south.

You don't need a container, bring it all in your suitcases.
Paperwork is not required either in BC. You will get waved through at immigration.
