Default Camcorders

Has anyone got any recommendations for a budget camcorder.

The primary use of the thing would be to video Air Cadet Parades and band concerts.

Thanks

How big is the budget?

If it's in the $400 range consider something like this one from Sony, it uses regular sized DVDs available almost anywhere cheap. Then you can just take them out of the camcorder and pop them straight into your DVD player to watch on TV.
